John Lewis
President and CEO

John Lewis joined GeoLogic Solutions in January 2005 as President and CEO. Before joining GeoLogic, Lewis had been Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer of XATA Corp., a leading provider of onboard computing systems for private trucking fleets.

Prior to XATA, Lewis held senior executive positions with two Minneapolis-based manufacturing companies. For both of these organizations he managed the sale of the business to strategic acquirers and directed the post-merger integration processes.

John began his career with Price Waterhouse as a Senior Consultant in the Strategy Implementation Group in Newport Beach, CA. He has an M.B.A. from the J. L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from Northwestern University.


Jeff Sim
Chief Financial Officer

Jeff Sim is a Certified Public Accountant with over 15 years of experience in financial analysis, operations analysis, mergers & acquisitions, accounting & auditing, strategic planning and investor relations.

Prior to joining GeoLogic, Sim was Senior Director of Investor Relations and Financial Analysis with TeleCommunication Systems, Inc. (TCS), directing both the investor relations activities of the publicly traded telecommunications company and providing financial management decision support to the Enterprise division of TCS. Prior to joining TCS, Sim spent four years with Aether Systems, Inc. where he directed the financial management of the Transportation & Logistics division, performed treasury management functions, and merger & acquisition due diligence activities. Additionally, Sim interfaced with analysts covering Aether stock by regularly providing guidance and financial model clarification following financial news releases.

During the four years prior to joining Aether, Sim provided assurance (audit & other), consulting and tax preparation with the accounting firms of KPMG, LLP and Mann Frankfort Stein & Lipp.

Jeff holds a bachelor’s degree in Finance from the University of Texas at Austin and an MBA in Finance and Management from Texas State University.


Sean Dorney
Vice President, Sales & Marketing

Sean Dorney joined GeoLogic Solutions in April 2005 as Vice President of Sales & Marketing. Prior to joining GeoLogic Solutions, Dorney spent five and a half years with GeoLogic’s parent company, Platinum Equity, one of the largest private firms in the United States with a portfolio of 18 operating companies and combined revenue of more than $13 billion.

While at Platinum, Dorney held various roles centered around the successful transition and operation of newly acquired companies with a focus on all related sales and marketing functions. Prior to joining Platinum, Sean had over 12 years of sales and sales management experience with high technology companies selling complex ERP solutions that included software applications, implementation, training, consulting and support.

Sean holds a B.S. degree in Behavioral Psychology from New York Institute of Technology.


Thomas G. Cuthbertson
Vice President, Service Operations

With over 17 years of operational experience in the transportation industry, both as a vendor and customer, Cuthbertson has represented GeoLogic Solutions' current product lines for over 12 years. Prior to the creation of GeoLogic Solutions, Tom was employed by Rockwell International, Motient and Aether Systems. His knowledge of the history behind GeoLogic Solutions is extensive.

Before joining the vendor side of the transportation industry, Tom served as the Director of Information Services at Chemical Leahman Tank Lines where he was responsible for implementing various technologies and mobile communications systems. Prior to Chemical Leahman he was employed by Eaton Corporation Materials Handling Group for more than 16 years, leaving as Director of Information Technology.

Cuthbertson was an officer on the Technology and Maintenance Council Board for 5 years and is currently on the advisory council for the Information Technology and Logistics Council of ATA and had previously been on that board for 8 years. He has presented to the USPTO on "Wireless Technology Trends in Transportation", as well as many presentations to various industry groups. Tom has also been a Stake Holder on reviewing proposals for the FMCSA on several technologies used in the Transportation Industry.

Tom is an inventor with three shared patents that relate to Driver Performance and Engine Monitoring. He holds a B.S. degree in Accounting from the University of Scranton.


Craig Malone
Vice President, Product Development & CTO

Craig Malone joined GeoLogic in November 2005 as Vice President, Product Development and Chief Technology Officer. Craig brings over 19 years of product development experience in technology startups and global companies within the defense and commercial electronics industries. During his career he has directed engineering, business development, and, product management functions engaged in bringing products and services to market.

Prior to joining GeoLogic, Craig was Vice President, Product Development, and CTO at Triverity, an early stage startup, developing real-time multimedia products for mobile applications. Previously, he was with Philips Consumer Electronics where he was the Vice President, Business Development, of a strategic initiative to develop consumer solutions for providing wireless multi-media distribution of high-speed Internet content within the home. While with Philips Electronics he also served as Vice President, Engineering, for Philips Broadband Networks where he led all global research and development activities with an international team of professionals in the United States, France, and the Netherlands. Craig championed the design, development, and complete life-cycle management of Philips' broadband network solutions. Prior to joining Philips, Craig worked at Raytheon Company in a variety of leadership roles developing RF and opto-electronic technologies.

Craig holds a B.S. degree in Physics from the University of Massachusetts and a M.S. in Physics from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
