HERNDON, Va. - October 1 , 2007 - CrossBridge Solutions, a premier provider of wireless data services to a variety of companies, today announced it has signed 55 new customers in its first year under GeoLogic's ownership. To date, CrossBridge serves 115 companies with customer bases that range from a few devices to several thousand wireless users.
CrossBridge serves customers that range from Fortune 500 companies to mid-size and modest organizations that utilize wireless data communications as part of their mobile or field service applications. The CrossBridge service provides cellular data communications on the AT&T and Sprint networks and satellite communication services from Orbcomm.
In the highly competitive wireless services arena, CrossBridge is making a name for itself as a carrier that provides exceptional customer service through an extremely reliable network.
"We've worked with a lot of communications carriers during our sixteen years in business," stated Marion Johnson, president of Time Management, Inc., a manufacturing and R & D company with over 25,000 devices in use nationwide. "CrossBridge is the most proactive provider we've worked with yet. We started with one plan but without even asking for it they revamped that plan and came back to us with a new and better communications package that saved us a great deal of money."
Tom Moody, president and CEO of Tracking Products, a manufacturer of GPS Tracking and RF location systems is currently using two networks, CrossBridge and one of its competitors, to provide service to his customers. However, according to Moody, "the minute the contract is up for renewal with our various products we are switching them over to CrossBridge. When you are dependant upon a service provider, as most wireless hardware manufacturers are, having a good relationship is key. From day one, CrossBridge has provided us with results and customer service that far outweighs their competitors."
Formerly known as iMotient Solutions, GeoLogic Solutions purchased the network from Motient Communications in September 2006. The CrossBridge service provides cellular data communications on the AT&T and Sprint networks and satellite communication services from Orbcomm to a variety of companies that utilize wireless data communications as part of their mobile or field service applications.
"With customers ranging both in size and needs," stated John Lewis, president of GeoLogic Solutions, "CrossBridge and GeoLogic are very similar in our philosophy on providing superior customer service no matter who the customer is. We are committed to continuing to offer that excellent service not only to our MobileMax customers in the trucking industry but to the other 114 companies that now depend upon the CrossBridge service for their wireless data needs."
